Even if you give your fur baby the best preventive care, a tooth may need to be removed. Dr. Walia will carefully evaluate your pet’s condition and recommend an extraction if a tooth is badly damaged, infected, or causing pain.
All tooth extractions are performed under anesthesia, and we provide pain medication for recovery. If needed, our staff may also dispense antibiotics to help clear up an infection. Extractions are performed only when truly necessary, and Dr. Walia will explain every step so you feel informed about your pet’s veterinary care.

Regular dental care shouldn’t stop at the vet’s office. Our staff is happy to help you learn how to support your pet’s oral health at home through tooth brushing, dental chews, or other easy-to-use products. Keeping up with home care reduces the risk of gum disease and may even extend the time between professional dental cleanings with a veterinarian.
